Opening of The 16th Yiwu Fair and The 3rd African Commodities Exhibition

The 16th China Yiwu International Commodities Fair and the the 3rd African Commodities Exhibition is held on Oct. 21, 2010 in Zhejiang Yiwu International Exhibition Centre. The theme of this Fair is “global sourcing, Yiwu orientation”. 5,000 booths were arranged, including 15 industries such as arts and crafts, electronic appliances, garments&shoes&hats,culture&office and other districts as the International Hall, the African Commodities Exhibition, Aboriginal Collaboration, National Women’s C.M.T. Goods Exhibition as well as the International Trade City, Binwang market etc., together 7 break-out rooms. For the first time this exhibition set up an e-commerce district. There will be 25 domestic e-business delegations to participate in.

In addition, the 3rd African Commodities Exhibition organized by the Ministry of Commerce is held concurrently with the Yiwu Fair. Compared with the previous two exhibitions, this one has larger scale with 218 booths and exhibitors from 29 African countries and regions such as Algeria, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Côte d’Ivoire etc.
